need the discipline

I tried studying on my own, took the test, became disappointed with the score. I'm thinking being in a classroom setting with other students will help me improve my score faster. I want to take the test again before the end of the year. I feel I need to take a crash/cram course to do better.

If no one's ever heard of PowerScore, then can someone recommend one that is about to begin, ideally, within the next week and end by late December? I would like to sign up for Manhatan GMAT, but it doesn't start until January, a month I'd like to submit my apps.

Manhattan GMAT is the only GMAT prep course I trust. I haven't encountered any other GMAT prep program that matched this course's quality.

If you can afford it--have you thought about private GMAT tutoring? I've heard that you can hire Manhattan GMAT teachers directly for tutoring.

I believe that personal tutoring may be the quickest way to improve your GMAT score, given what you described about yourself.
