A manufacturing company produces stick-on pads in 4 different colors (Red, Blue, Green and Yellow) of 2 Different sizes each. The company then packages them into sets of 3 each either of the same size and different color or of the same size and same color. How many such packages are possible

1) 6

2) 8

3) 16

4) 24

5) 32

Sorry, don't have any help for you here, but....

speaking of this problem, does anyone know of a good text or other resource for studying problems like these? I've heard Delta course is good, but that seems like overkill. All one really needs is a lot of practice problems, but I haven't found anything like that yet.

Any help?

Much appreciated.

For same-size different-color, number of combinations = 4c3 * 2
For same-size same-color, number of combinations = 4 * 2

Total = 16.

Is it C?
