Hi,
I am a qualified CA from 2012 batch. Currently working with Bajaj Finance Ltd as Area manager-Corporate Banking having post qualification exp of 18 months. I was a Average student throughout my career, Would like to know whether duration for 3-4 months is enough to crack G-MAT with 710+ Score & get into ISB-Hyderabad. What is a ideal duration for preparing for GMAT.

Hi shobhitjain11,

I've found that most Test Takers need 3 months (or more) to hit their respective "peak" scores. A small percentage can succeed in less time, but that is not the norm. It sounds like you're planning to work on your application(s) while you study, which is fine - keep in mind that a strong application takes time to put together, so you should not wait until the last minute to do so.

If you haven't started your GMAT prep yet, then you should plan to take a Full-Length practice CAT (you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com) so that you can establish a "baseline" score and improve from there.

For specific admissions questions, I'd suggest that you post in the Admissions Sub-Forum (on this site). The experts there will likely be able to offer some pointed advice on your situation.
