I'm to take the GMAT in 2015 & I was thinking of everything that could go wrong after taking the test, i.e during the selection process(PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME TO BE A PESSIMIST, CZ I AM VERY SURE THAT WITH THE AMOUNT OF EFFORT I AM GOING TO PUT, NOTHING CAN GO WRONG AS FAR AS THE TEST IS CONCERNED)

So, I'm posting here a few combinations with the hope that the entire GMAT community will come up with the ways to override the obstacles.

1. 750+ score, Low GPA, about 2 years of work exp (with a couple of months' break in service), standard essays & standard recommendations.

2. 750 +, Low GPA, 3 years of continuous work exp (but about 5 years gap between graduation & getting the job), moderate essays, good recommendations

3. perfect 800, moderate GPA,3 years of continuous work exp (but about 5 years gap between graduation & getting the job), good essays, just about ok recommendations

4. perfect 800, low to moderate GPA, 3 years of continuous work exp (but about 5 years gap between graduation & getting the job), good essays, good recommendations



These are what I could think of at present. Please come up with suggestions. Please mention how you would explain the drawbacks at the time of interview
