I am assuming that there is NO condition after "IF" in ques.
IMO A,
a) x>y+2 .....so X is always greater than Y....SUFF
b) x>y-2 .........IN-SUFF
plz solve

From(1):
x>y+2 => x-y>2
So, definitely x-y> 0. So, x>y
Sufficient
From(2):
x+2>y =>x-y>-2
Not sure whether x-y>0.
example: x=2,y=3 x<y
x=3,y=2, x>y
Not sufficient
Hence, A
From(1):
x>y+2 => x-y>2
