Plz advice on my 2nd attempt GMAT prep

I took a month off before taking my 2nd GMAT date. In 2 weeks I have revised my concpets and solved the last 40 OG questions and also the ones I got wrong during my first prep.

Someone suggested I should not spend time understanding the questions I got right, since I don't have much time. Is that a right way to go about it? Should I just focus on the questions I got wrong?

I'm still not able to solve SC in 1 min. My accuracy is good but I take more time than I should. After eliminating 2 answer choices, I start reading sentences from left to right rather than top to bottom. Although my ave SC time is 1:30, this time is just not good enough for a person like me whose average CR time is 3mins and RC time is 2mins.

Did you correctly write that Reading Comprehension questions take you shorter time than Critical Reasoning?
Maybe you should spend more time on Critical Reasoning then. Some Sentence Correction questions can be done in under 1 minute but this is not a rule that works for all these questions.

when I wrote 2mins for RC question, I didn't take into account the passage. I meant 2mins to solve an "inference" question and 1min for "main idea" questions. If I take the timing for one complete passage, I believe I end up spending 3-4 mins more than I should to answer the questions.

Should I not spend time on the questions I got right since I don't have much time? I plan to "not time" myself for 2 weeks and see if I can apply the strategies properly for as many questions as I can with good accuracy. This is what you suggested in one of my previous posts. After 2 weeks I will start timing myself and see the difference.

I see. What I can advise you at present is to leave the two last weeks before the exam for practice tests and currently simply try to improve your accuracy as much as possible (ignore timing). Choose your weakest subjects and try to attack them. Your goal should be finding an explanation for each good answer you select. Also if you make a mistake, attempt to find out why the correct answer is CORRECT and what makes it better than your initial choice.

I'm definitely not focusing on timing for a few weeks. I won't be able to take time off from work, so will it be practical to leave the tests for the last 2 weeks?

I appreciate your suggestions. I've been getting various suggestions from people. But what worked for them might not work for me.

I think two weeks should be enough for tests, provided you find the time to do one test per two days.
