Now I am confused. Gmat paper tests are known to have lot of errors.

Which one is correct and which one isnt only GMAT knows.

I would have PM Stacey on this but apparently she is on a holiday :(

To add to the 'and' debate -

Some compounds, which are cliches are so inseprable that they are considered one unit-

Eg - the long an short of it is...

Bread and butter was all she served...

Give and take is essential to ...

"Skill and precision" is one unit or not.
What would we prefer "is" or "are"


Still open??

Its very simple to say "skill" and "precision" refer to the same person and hence singular, move on but...

Is it written any where or any source which could help us

or we just say "skill" and "precision" form one group and we move on....

How could they form one group? They aren't related. Skill is ability; precision is exactness.

because here both time and tide are subjects
and (X & Y) they should be followed by wait

don't think that OA can be D

not only at X but at Y - seems correct

at not only X but at Y- seems incorrect (used in D)

(D) to measure the movements of the Sun and Moon
is evidenced at not only
