work exp- currently workin in family owned company as Mgmt Trainee...done some leadership jobs(organised events etc)...
wud hav a little more than one yr work exp when i join the Bschool next fall'08
durin undergrad i hav worked as freelance for my company...
Finished my UG in BE ECE april'07(me from INDIA)
got ard 75% in UG

12th std-93%
10th-84%
wat Bschools can i give a try.....
after MBA i wud like to com back and take over my family business...
we run the leading newspaper in the state....
I wud be able to give a good essay and also comment on some social work/organisation of events etc...

Plss suggest some good Bschools in USA i may give a try....

Oops! Sorry for replying so late. :?
As you have plans of joining your family business post MBA, I would look for special MBA programs rather than traditional ones.

Columbia's Acceleration MBA or even Kellogg has one similar programs (sorry I forgot the name but you can get it from website)
they are compressed programs where you don't have to deal with ^recruitment pressure^.

Or other option is look for full time MBA programs with Entreprenuership as speciality/concentration.
eg. Babson college.

Hi mani234,

I agree that an accelerated program is a good option for you, since you will not need an internship. I would suggest looking in Canada and Europe - schools like Oxford and HEC offer shorter MBAs and are also affordable.

I would try to improve your GMAT and make sure you have some extracurricular involvement to strengthen your overall profile if you are considering Columbia and Kellogg.
