Theater M has 25 rows with 27 seats in each row. How many of the seats were occupied during a
certain show?
(1) During the show, there was an average (arithmetic mean) of 10 unoccupied
seats per row for the front 20 rows.
(2) During the show, there was an average (arithmetic mean) of 20 unoccupied seats per row for the back 15 rows.

Answer is (C)

Statement (1), doesn't provide any information regarding top 5 rows. Hence IN-SUFFICIENT.

Statement (2), doesn't provide any information regarding front 10 rows. Hence IN-SUFFICIENT.

When you take both statements together, then you have information regarding all the rows (both about occupied and unoccupied seats). Hence SUFFICIENT. There is no need to go in detail how to compute the answer. Just hit (C) and move forward.

If you still want to know, how to compute, let me know, I will post the solution.

i think OA is E....because if we combine front and back rows together we will get 35 rows and there are 25 rows mention in the question
