advertisement can sometimes give false claim to consumer though it is sometimes needed .Please write for or against this issue.

In this modern era where consumers have so many options to choose,it is always
difficult for consumers to differentiate between different products.New product keep
flooding the market with similar functionality and price and only advertisement may
give a particular company a upper edge.Advertisement is certenly a indispensible
tool in todays world, but it does not mean advertisement will make a poison taste
like a honey.

First argument regarding false claim made by advertisement, is highligted in soft drinks and junk food segments.grandouse and expensive advertisement with elite holywood stars can create a false belief that those items are endorsed by high
prolific people must be superior value to health and hygeine.A recent survey
among youth aged 10 to 18 ,clearly showed that 90 percent of people are over weight
and they consume junk food and carbonated drinks twice more than the normal limits. Those people claim that they have a strong inclination for those product as there owne super heros or icon endorsed them.Recently there have been a litigation
against a fast food chain which claimed that there pulpe energy drinks supplies sprinters with soluble oxygen which enhances stamina and reduce fatigue .Doctors
and scientist have made several clinical test to show that fast food are bad , but
advertisement always tries to catch the emotion of masses by luring people into habits that are bad for the overall health of the society .

second argument regarding advertisement of beauty and FMCG products.Recently
there was a news that a girl used a cream that advertised that anyone can be fairer in 15 days. The girl did not found result as expected , thus emotinaly humilaited jumped from the roof.

It can always be argued that a educatedand logical person can always differentiated between a false claim , people are sometimes guided by emotions which makes them to believe what they see.

I can be concluded that proper advertisement is good but false advertisement can be harmful to society
