Hi Stacy/Amy-

I am currently studying for the GMAT and prepping the application for my first choice school - UCLA Anderson. Specifically, their Entertainment Marketing and Management program. I am of course targeting around 700 for the GMAT, but my practice scores have been low 600s so far. Please see my profile below and let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.

Undergrad: NY State school, majored in Music Businees, 3.54 GPA

Work experience: 3 years as a coordinator doing International PR/Global Communications for a major cosmetics company on the production side, currently <1 doing International production for a major record label in a Manager position

I will have good recommendation letters and my essays are shaping up well as I know exactly what my career goals are (international music marketing and promotion).

Unfortunately, I have no extracurriculars and really don't have time to start now as I have 2 jobs.

Any input would be great. thanks!

Hi MusicNYC,

Short of adding extracurriculars, the thing to do now is make sure you highlight the accomplishments you have had at work. Leadership and teamwork are important, so see where you have shown both qualities.

Good luck!
