- GMAT Score:460
Hi all, this is my first post so bare with me.
I took the GMAT for the first time on Feb 11th. I scored a TERRIBLE 460 (27Q and 27V). I have been prepping to take it again ever since, studying my butt off and I cannot seem to improve!
I have taken three full length practice tests since and here are my scores (in order that I have taken them):
800score.com full length #1: 480 (29Q and 27V)
800score.com full length #2: 520 (29Q and 31V)
GMATPrep (off mba.com) #1: 480 (26Q and 29V)
What is going on here! I just do not know what to do! Here I am 2 weeks away from taking it again and I cannot seem to improve! I had my interview with the Dean of Admissions to the program that I want to attend, and she basically told me that the only thing standing in my way of getting admitted into the program is my GMAT score. She said that I need a 600+. I feel like I am making all the right moves, but no gains thus far.
I am a very bright person, I had a 3.6 cum GPA in undergrad from a very respected university in a difficult major and was 1st in my class in high school. I love school and I don't even mind studying. However, I feel that I am very challenged on standardized test. Was never able to make a high score on my ACT and sat for the LSAT in Dec and scored low, after a lot of study. WHAT GIVES? Oh, and I am American and graduated undergrad in May of 09; so i've been out of school for a year.
I have two weeks and unlimited time to prep. Does anyone have ANY suggestions of how to improve??[/b]
