Please help me solve problem

The question is:

At a certain diner, a hamburger and coleslaw cost $3.59, and a hamburger and french fries cost $4.40. If the french fries cost twice as much as coleslaw, how much do french fries cost?

(a) $0.30
(b) $0.45
(c) $0.60
(d) $0.75
(e) $0.90

I am getting 1.62. Which is not even one of the answers.

h + c = 3.59 and h +ff = 4.40 and ff = 2c

Therefore,

h + 2c = 4.4
- h + c = 3.59
= c = .81
ff = .81 x 2 = 1.62

If you plug the price of c back into both of the equations, h costs 2.78, which works for both.

Someone, please comment.

Even I am getting 1.62 as answer... Either the choices are not correct or I am moving in wrong direction.....

Gmat guru's, pls throw some light on this.. :)

This problem has been previously discussed numerous times. There is some kind of a typo in the problem. The answer is 1.62.
