I wanted to gain your advice on the schools that I plan to apply to for fall 2009. The schools are Wake Forest, University of Georgia, Winthrop University, UNCC, and Clark Atlanta University. I plan to live in either Charlotte or Atlanta post graduate school. Of note, I currently work as a banker with Bank of America with about 4.5 years of work experience. What is your professional opinion on the schools I have selected?

Dear bburton11,

The schools are solid, regional programs. Some have a better reputation than others, but any of them will be recognized in Charlotte and Atlanta. Wake Forest and Georgia are probably the two with the strongest reputation in the area and outside the south. Which one is the best for you depends on what you want to do post-MBA. You might visit our sticky on school selection for additional insights.

Best of luck,
Lisa
