Short CV

Undergraduate: University of Oxford, Modern History, 2:1

GMAT: Yet to take but should be 700+

Work experience: 1 year IT consulting, 3 years strategy consulting. Both with tier one blue chip firms

Extra curricular: Founded charitable organisation at university. Captain of college football team. Spend a year teaching in India. Run workshop in community seeking to get children from ethic minorities into higher education.

Career aims: M&A / Corporate Finance at tier 1 IB

Hi DHPPRS,

Are you British? Are you interested in programs in the US or in Europe? Have you identified any schools you are interested in?

I think the sticky threads on what GPA/GMAT is required for top programs and school selection will be helpful.

Your academics sound potentially strong (depends what you really get on the GMAT). Your work experience could be an asset, depending on the level of responsibility you have achieved, projects you have worked on, etc. Have you been involved in a leadership position in your extracurriculars, and are they current?
