Hi,

Please evaluate my profile

Demographics:Indian/IT/Female
Age:23
gpa:8.81/10 from an Indian university, top 10 of my class
Xth:90.4%, top 10 of my school
XIIth:96%, 2nd in my school
gmat:720(q 49 v40) awa:4.5
WE:1 year in Asia's largest IT consultancy firm
- working in Oracle EBS, client is one of the largest corporations of US
- was identified as a key resource in the project
- primary point of contact for the clients for a particular module
- good ratings
- was class representative during a technical training program

EC:
- organized fests and cultural activities during school and college
- was class representative during college
- love photography
- charity events as part of company's charity organization
- love reading, so part of company's book club

Would it be worthwhile for me retake GMAT and try to increase my score(my practice test scores were above 750, but unfortunately, was sick during test day)?

What are my chances at Duke, Darden, Kelley, Yale, LBS, Oxford, Judge? What other schools can I look at?

Hello sojourn, thanks for your question.

The detail that concerns me most is that it appears you have one year of work experience. Ideally, you'd want to have at least 2-3 years under your belt. Am I missing something? Do you have work experience at a different company?

Otherwise, I'd wait a year or two to amass solid leadership experience to draw upon in your essays. Unless you are a truly exceptional candidate, I don't think it would behoove you to apply with just 1 year of experience.

I am happy to comment further with additional information

Best of luck,
Brian
