UG: Reputed University in South Asia (University gold medal), University ranks in English, French
Subject: Communication

Masters: Education and Technology, Ivy-League, GPA 3.8

Work-Experience

4 years

3 years as editor with Top 5 South-Asian newspaper
1 year, Manager with largr non-profit (USA)

Leadership

Recently launched independent education consulting practice.
Founded soft-skill training program for inner-city children.
College body president

Other Interests

Jewelery Design (won several national/international competitions)
Animation and film ( hold diplomas from prestigious South-Asian institutes)
Languages ( speak two Asian languages, French and I am currently learning Spanish)

Dear butterfingers123,

You have a competitive profile for any MBA program, including your target list. Whether or not you are admitted will depend on the strength of your application relative to the rest of the applicant pool. Thus you need a great set of essays and recommendations, not to mention an outstanding interview, to give yourself the best chance. In looking at your list, it seems you do not really have any programs that are safety options. You might want to add a safety option to the mix, as an insurance plan, if your end goal is to be in business school next year. The programs you are targeting are highly selective and no profile is a guarantee.
