Hi,
I understand I come from a over represented applicant pool.

Indian 29yrs age, Engineer (Non IT) 5.7yrs of experience at time of entry
GMAT 720
GPA: 3.9 (Graduate Degree)

I have only average EC's but very good career growth. Could you please suggest colleges I should be targetting? Is Sloan/Stern/YALE/DUKE within my range. I am also interested in INSEAD one year MBA. Given that I have experience only in US and internships in India and project related work for a few weeks in Germany, what are my chances in INSEAD which values international experience?

Thanks
Vivek

Hello,

Your list of schools makes sense as a set of reasonable reach schools, with Sloan being a very high reach. I think your international experience would suffice for Insead -- depending on what you have to say about it, how you've learned and grown from it. Because of your over-represented status as an Indian in IT, you should consider also either expanding your list of reach schools or adding 2-3 schools that are slightly less competitive by the numbers but that would meet your learning and other needs.

Best regards,
