Work-experience:
Over 6 years of experience in Finance holding several different positions at Fortune 500 General Defense Contractor. Started in the company in the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP). Program rotates you through 4 positions in 2 years. I worked in program office finance, internal audit, cash management, financial planning & analysis and IT finance. I also spent 3 years in the program office for a large SAP ERP system implementation for IT. Currently a senior financial analyst supporting the IT organization. Written references available from Senior Directors and VPs.

Hi,

Thanks for your post. You seem to have a great background with solid academics and a good career trajectory and variety of experiences to date. You've compiled a nice mix of schools that would compliment your post MBA goals with their course offerings. I think you can certainly be competitive for admission at these programs. The key will be for you to stand out in the applicant pool. One area you don't touch on is your extracurricular activities. Do you have any hobbies, activities, or volunteer work that your pursue or are involved in on a regular basis? Do you have team or leadership examples among these activities? If so, I strongly suggest you find a way to incorporate them into the mix for your essays. This will help strike a balance among your work related essays as well as help differentiate you from others in the applicant pool.
