Following is my background
I am an Indian IT Male ,age 30
MS in Computer science from University of Southern california ( ranked among top 10 for computer science)
GPA 3.44
GMAT : 750( Q49, V 42)
6 years experience in Computer software with the last 3 years as a Lead for an Investment Bank.
Although, I have lead only 4 people at a time The projects which I have done resulted in the cost savings of almost 700 man-hours per month and are among the most critical applications.
These applications are completely my Ideas, which I thought, based on my knowledge of finance, would be enormously useful for the bank and I was right.
These are things that were earlier done either manually or inefficiently a.( I dont know whether this qualifies for the requirement of 'Tapping an Unknown market' as there was information which was in separate places and it was my vision to develop bring it under one place .These applications are used by the people at the highest level ( Chairman, CIO) for decision making)
Another thing I would like to mention is that my manager is an alumni of Booth School of business ,Chicago and I think that his recommendation would help me when I apply to that university.
Additionally, I have also cleared CFA level 1.
My question is:
do I have a slightest chance of getting into any of the top 10 schools like
Wharton,Chicago, Columbia,Yale etc. I know that I come from an overrepresented demographic group
