I'd appreciate if someone could help me in evaluating my profile -

Gmat: 700 (Q46, V40)
Undergrad GPA: 3.8 (Top 20 Ugrad Business Colleges, US)

Passed CFA Level 1. Hopefully will clear Level 2 before I apply

Worked 2 years in Big Four Accounting, Entry Level in US
Worked 2 years in VC (Number crunching, again entry level) in US

Started a small biz in India since last yr, leading small team, but loss making

I am targeting top 5 MBAs in the US, and London Business School and IESE in Europe. Pls tell me where I stand, and whether I should retake my GMAT for a 730-740

Thanks!!!!

I am not sure if posting another 30 or 40 points will get you much farther, so you might want to focus on the application instead. a 7-handle on the GMAT proves you are smart, and your work experience will set you apart (also the CFA designation). In short, you have all the basics that a top school desires, so the key for you will be packaging everything in a clear and convincing case for admission. You might consider getting someone to help you put your story together or at least help you with editing your package before you submit. Good luck.
