Hello, Could you please help me evaluate my profile.

8 Years of experience in IT in Software Development and Consulting. Currently working as Sr. Consulting Manager.
Masters in Computer Science (3.5 GPA)
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
Age: 32

Planning to apply for 2011

Yet to take GMAT.

Schools in Mind:

UC Berkeley
Wharton.

What should be my target GMAT score.

Hello,

From the information you provided, I think that Wharton and Haas would be rather far reaches. Your age is a slightly negative factor, and being (it seems from your name) an Indian in IT places you in an over-represented group. To be competitive for those schools with your demographic background you would probably need a GMAT in the mid 700s.

Have you considered top EMBA programs? With your age and your position as Senior Consulting Manager, it seems that an EMBA might be a better fit.
