Hello Stacy,

I am wondering what/if any school I would be able to get in with this profile

- 2.3 GPA, Psychology, Minor Business, University of Colorado
- GMAT- 620 Quantitative 44 Verbal 31
- Work experience- worked in Korea as an ESL teacher for 1 year 6 months, promoted to head teacher after 4 months overseeing 15 employees
managed a small business owned by my brother for 6 months
- volunteer at homeless shelters
- Traveled the world including Korea, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, South Africa, Germany
- Difficult upbringing, emancipated at the age of 12 from biological parents

I know my GPA is super low and I don't have much work experience related to Business. I am not trying to get into a great school, I just want to know what I could get into. I studied for about 6 weeks on my own for the GMAT and I am sure I can do better.

What are my options?

Dear LostOutHere,

There are schools out there that would accept you if you offer a compelling case for admission. You want to identify schools that will offer a program that will prepare you for your career goals, first and foremost. You do not indicate your rationale for going to business school, so it is hard to really point you towards any schools in particular. Generally speaking, you are competitive for schools where your GMAT/GPA are close to/above the schools' GMAT/GPA average. So, I would suggest targeting schools where the GMAT average is in the 580-640 range and where the curriculum and other resources are a good match for your career goals.
