Please evaluate my profile??

by RithikaJ » Thu Dec 21, 2017 3:03 am
Hey there,

I have recently given my GMAT(went in cold as I didn't plan much in advance) and scored 640. I know it isn't a great score but given the time I am not sure if waiting till I give it again is a good idea. I plan on applying for Round 2. Which colleges do you think I might stand a chance at?

10th - 90%
12th - 97.3%
B.Tech - 9.08

Work Experience: 3 years
Software Engineer at IBM for an year
Consultant at PurpleTalk for BA
Product Manager(FoodTech) at a startup for about an year and a half. This product didn't pick up the way we wanted it to, so we eventually landed in services with a hope to work on it better later.

Re: my profile and personal statement for the best college proessays

The stats for acceptance rate at the best schools may be scary, of course. Because they want you to have an IT Product Development or Software Engineering experience not less that 2-3 years. But these four may be not so strict and your profile is good enough for them:

Dartmouth Tuck School of Business
McCombs Business School
UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School
Tepper School of Business

Our online profile evaluation tool is designed to evaluate the profiles of students who want to pursue MS in the US. The profile evaluation for MS is done based on a student’s undergrad percentage/GPA, GRE, and TOEFL scores. This free profile evaluation tool helps you shortlist the right set of universities to apply to, so you can optimize your efforts in the quest of that dream admit.

How Best To Use the Profile Evaluator
The profile evaluator tool gives 3 key outputs:

A list of 12 colleges, which are further classified into safe, moderate and ambitious categories, as per your profile’s probability of securing an admit from these universities.
For each of these schools, we provide further details like Percentile (i.e. your rank amongst past successful admits), Major wise University Rank, Class Percentage, GRE Quant Median, and GRE Verbal Median. These parameters help you to better gauge your chances of success and you can easily filter out which colleges to apply for.
The GyanDhan Admit Predictor also helps you to understand as to how your profile can be further improved to secure an admit in your target college. It can guide you whether you need to retake the GRE or not, in order to improve your chances of landing an admit in your preferred university. It also compares your GPA with the median GPA of the successful applicants of your target university. In case, your GPA falls short of the median GPA then the other areas of your application which can add weight to your profile are suggested by the tool.
