Request you to evaluate my profile and let me know if I stand a chance in the universities that I mention below.
Graduation -- One of the top 5 schools in India (was among the top 0.5% of those who would have given the exam), B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, ended with a GPA of 3.1.
Work exp. - 26 months on date. Working for a reputed MNC (a 40,000 strong employee base in the US with an IT development division in India). Am presently the acting lead for my project, though the designation is that of Software Engineer. Am the first one from our batch (of 2 year exp guys at our organization) to work as an acting lead.
GMAT - 710 (I gave it twice, and ended up with the same score each time. Just want to know if this presses as a negative clause).
Awards and Recognitions -
Received an Employee Recognition award for my services in my organization.
Have recently been nominated for the Innovation Champion Award at our organisation (a total of 2 nominations of our 900 strong IT division in India, of which I am one, results awaited).
Am an active participant in all kinds of curricular activites in our organization, and am the co-editor of our quarterly newsletter. Head of the quizzing committee in our organization.
Was the placement secretary at my school during the final year of graduation, encompassing the placement related issues of the whole student fraternity at our campus. Headed all the departments of both the graduates and post-graduates and got a great exposure to the corporate environ through my frequent interactions with executives at these places. Our institute also recorded one of its best placement sessions of all times during that period.
Was the financial accountant of our annual cultural festival, in my 3rd year. That gave an exposure to accounting and auditing at a greater level, as I had spent close to 2 months with a professional auditor appointed by the institute.
Was also the core committee member of various student organizations during my graduation days, and was a member of the quizzing team representing our institute at an annual quizzing event, which is jointly held among the top 7 Tech. Schools and B-Schools in India.
Leadership skills - in abudance right from childhood, was the head of the student body in my 10th grade at school (6000 odd strong in number).

Fuqua, Duke
Wharton
NUS
I would like to know the chances that I have of getting through any of these schools. I would also like to know whether I must apply in any of the schools other than the above. I am aiming at a generic management course (1 or 2 year wouldn't matter much), with no particular specializations in mind. I would want to apply in schools which are rated in the top 20 in the world on a consistent basis.
If there is any information that you can provide regarding such schools, then it would be of great help !!!
