Hi suchit.pandey,

Thanks for posting. First, I recommend you read this case study of an Indian applicant who was accepted into Columbia, Tuck, and MIT:

https://www.stacyblackman.com/comprehens ... ies/case2/

For ways that you can improve your application, remember that business schools are looking to cultivate future leaders, so any leadership and management experience you have will be important. This can be inside or outside of work.

For schools that you are interested in, do you have a preference in location? What are your goals post-graduation?

Cheers,

Conrad and the Stacy Blackman Team

Hi Stacy,

Thanks for your comments...
Schools that I am targetting are:

Tuck,Tepper,Anderson,ISB,Yale,Darden....

can I show the extracurriculars such as playing football in my application.I have represented my college team ,and I am now a member of my company futball team..have done decent community work..active member of a NGO in India..Was the region topper in XII and was 3rd in the whole state..

What I wanted to know is that does all the stuff above relevant to my application process???

Hi suchit.pandey,

Admissions teams are looking for individuals who have made an impact and exhibited leadership. If in your football experience, for example, you held the role of captain, or took a leadership role, this could add a great element to your application. However, the impact of this would be much lower if you only participated in an organization, and did not take an active role.
