-Asian female
-Canadian
-Target Schools: Rotman (UofT), Shulich (York)
-GPA 3.1 in Chemical Engineering
-GMAT: 650 (V34/Q46, IR- 7 (82%), AWA - 6).
-5+ years of experience working in oil & gas
-Acquired Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation
-Hoping to use my technical background supplemented with the knowledge and network I acquire through the MBA program to move into a Business Development role.
-Secondly, one of my great passions is providing mentorship. Especially to empower other young women to take interest in STEM disciplines with the knowledge that if they wanted to transition into business industries or management positions in the future, an MBA is a powerful supplement to the various STEM disciplines.

I am a bit hesitant due to my lower than average GPA and GMAT; is it necessary to retake GMAT for my target schools?

Thanks very much!
