I am 31, Female. With 1 yr old baby. My academic is good.
Background -
Come from business bkground. Had peanut oil factory. Now it's closed due to many factors. When we had factory my role was
1. Look into accts and validate the cost ( with help) and write cheques. Give out the payments.
2. Used to go to market to apply tenders 1s in a while
3. Salary payment.
4. Day 2 day activity (part time)
5. Taught Maths and science for employee kids
School -
1. Was part of basketball team
2. Had certification in drawing competitions.
3. Was student head for 2 yrs in 7 th n 10th.
Undergraduate -
1. Student head for computer science group.
2. President of student body in final yr.
3. Organised many events like annual day, cultural
Professional -
1. When I apply will be having 7.5 yrs of exp in IT. Worked on Telecom, health care and petroleum domains.(worked for some of reputed company in the wold)
2. 5yrs worked in NY and moving to London soon.
3. Received awards in companies like best graduate hire, subject matter expert
4. In coming mth I will be shadowing in accounts dept for 2 days and 1 day in supply chain.
With amt of studying that I am doing I am expecting score of 680 - 700.
I do not have an wow factor and nothing different. My main target is stern. I have time to improve my application. Please let me know what I can do to improve my profile.
What business schools should I target.
Long term plan - I have few business ideas but no idea how to go abt it. Also might open the factory Back up.
Any help is appreciated.
