12th - 91.00%
Under Grad - 66.67% (Engineering in Computer Science)
GMAT: 690 (Q 50, V34)
Nationality - Indian

Work experience: 4 years in Software(Insurance Domain)
out of which 1 year in India and 3 years in US(all in one of the Top IT/Engineering company).
Specific Work achievements: Promoted to the next senior level in 1 year, leading a team of 7,performing technical as well as business analysis activities.

EC- Participated in 2 United Nations Programs during school to help underdeveloped children,lead a team during school for Help Age Foundation to collect money for old citizens,actively participated in various Indian arts competitions,throughout my life i have been involved with various sports - represent college and my current company in various ping pong, volleyball and basketball competitions.

I wouldnt wanna go to Smith/Georgetown but considering my GMAT score, i think i might have to. Please let me know if you think otherwise.

I am in the same confusion as to whether i should retake. My weakness as evident is verbal. I am not sure even if i do prepare for a month, i would improve or not.

Dear rish,

If you are unsure if you can raise your verbal, while still scoring as high on the quant, then it is not worth the resources to retake the GMAT. You do have the essays and interviews to demonstrate your verbal English skills. For any of the schools on your list, you will need to submit a strong application package with great essays and recommendations that distinguish you from similar applicants. Smith and Georgetown might not be your preferred schools, but they are great schools where you have a slightly better chance for admission.
