I come from an engineer background and my date of GMAT is on 11th august.Am done with preperations i finished KAPLAN,OG,PRINCETON as of now.I gave some gmat prep tests and am not totally happy with my score my average score is always hovering between 690 but i badly need more than 730 score. In all the mock tests i gave i got the following scores

GMAT PREP ---- 690(Q50,V35),680(Q49,V36),690(Q48,V38)
PrinceTon ---- 660(Q49,V33)

Am contemplating to postpone my Test date as am not looking to apply this year anyways so want to make sure end up with a gud gmat score in the first attempt itself. One mistake i think i did was during my preparation which lasted for about a month and half i never took mock test and just about couple of weeks from THE GMAT am feeling low on confidence after looking into my scores presently.i dont think i should take the exam with this frame of mind.

I seriously need to improve my Verbal scores so plz advise.Sugggest me the ways to improve myverbal csores am quite gud in quant. Am planning to do Manhattan Sentence correction and other stuff going forward and constantly monitor my progress.

Any comments plzzzzzzzz
Thanx

Hi Rakesh,

You clearly have time to give the GMAT (you said you are not apping this year) so there is no need to hurry through the GMAT, especially since you know that you can do better than your current performance. I personally think you should postpone the exams and prepare better.

Cheers
