I am a bit confused between C and E...

Since E is more of a generic statement - That all organisms are effected, C is more related to sea animals which is in context with the passage.

So IMO C

Why B is wrong?

Don't you think C and E are outside the argument since the argument is true in evaluate the argument questions (First family)?

I did not understand this part
"since the argument is true in evaluate the argument questions (First family)?"

It is asking about the role of the argument "zooplankton feed of phytoplankton" ..

So I think C says about the indirect effect on sea animals if zooplanktons reduces..

Evaluate the argument comes under first family questions. That means, the argument is true and the answer choices are suspicion. And the information in the stimulus should be used to prove the correct answer choice.

How do you assume phytoplanktons are large animals if you choose C?

It says zooplanktons feed the rest of the food chain, so I assumed it meant other sea animals ...

Think its a reasoning question rather than a evaluate question.
Evaluate questions don't belong to first family, but a combination of 2nd and 3rd families, where answer coices can bring in outside information.

Coming to this question, reasoning question means stimulus correct-> answer choice must be TRUE.

B is the only one.

For others, we dont talk about larger sea animals or E.

I think C is correct.Because it reasons in the argument that zooplanktons feed other animals, declines in pop. are inevitable.
B is just talking about the eating habits which is not mentioned in the CR.How can u assume tat it is affecting their eating habits?

B

C talks about larger sea animals.. where as argument talks about only Fish and sea birds...

Thus answer should be B

It seems to me that the right answer is B.
