In the telephone number 936-215X, what digit does X represent?

(1) Only one digit in the telephone number is greater than X.
(2) X is the greatest of the digits not among the telephone number's first six digits.

if i got the problem properly then my answer is B
(1) only one digit is greater that x,the greatest existing digit is 9 so x must be less the 9 and more that 6, so x can be 7, or 8 insufficient
(2) x is the greatest among non-existing digits, non existing digits are-0,4,7,8,the greatest is 8 so sufficient
