Hi everyone,
I am a little confused with the different types of accomplishment essays.
First of all, what is the difference between an accomplishment and achievement?
Secondly, is a personal accomplishment strictly unrelated to your work?
Finally, can overcoming a certain phobia be considered an personal accomplishment?
Thanks,
mr T

In short:
Accomplishment vs. Achievement - if these are essays from two different schools, I would consider these to be interchangeable.
Personal accomplishment can be work related or unwork related. I don't think one holds more weight over the other. Although if all of your essays are unwork related that might be curious.
Overcoming a certain phobia can be a personal accomplishment. I don't think the AdCom will judge anyone, so long as you can explain why this is a major accomplishment
