Perpendicular lines

In an xy plane line k passes through the point (1,1) and line m passes through the point (1,-1). Are lines k and m perpendicular?

1) Lines k & m intersect at (1,-1)

2) Line k intersects the x-axis at point (1,0)

I am getting "E"
whats OA ?
from stmt 1: we can get slope of 'k' but not for 'm'
in suff.
from stmt 2: again we will know slope of line 'k' but no info for m
in suff.

from 1 and 2 no extra information.

i misread the question. I read the question was asking whether the two lines are parallel. Here's a big lesson. Read the question, specially the operative terms, very carefully. Because sometimes we get tricked into something different from what the question asks, simply because the unconscious was expecting it that different way.

it was well past midnight and i was solving from my bed on my mobile. That might be a reason though.

how do you get slope for line m ?
Moreover question asked about if the two lines are Perpendicular.
From 2 we know they intersect but not sure at what angle ?
What do you say ?

I think if we get 1 other point for line m then the we can easily find out if both lines are prepndicular to each other.

Otherwise, answer should be E.

What do you guys think.

Really sorry. I misread the question. I read 'parallel' in place of 'perpendiculur'. Glad it was not the real test.

IMO E

We need to find the second point thru which Line m passes... to find its slope
