Perimeter of triangle in co-ordinate geometry

In the xy-plane, the vertices of a triangle have coordinates (0, 0), (3, 3), and (7, 0). What is the perimeter of the triangle?

A. 13
B. root 34
C. root 43
D. 7+6 root 2
E. 12+ 3 root 2

Hi
the ans is E (12+3(sqroot 2)
Use the distance formula to calculate the distance between the co-ordinates :(sq root((x2-x1)^2)+ (y2-y1)^2))
so distance between (0,0) nd (7,0) = 7.
distance between (0,0) nd (3,3) = sq root (18)= 3sqroot(2) .
distance between (3,3) nd (7,0) = 5.

Adding we get the preimeter : 12+3sqroot(2) .
