If the drama club and music club is combined, what percent of the combined membership is male

1) Of the 16 members of the drama club, 15 are male
2) Of the 20 members of the music club, 10 are male

This is a poorly written question but given the information I would go with E.

We do not know if some members of the drama club are also members of the music club and vice versa hence E.

Ahhhh... That's a good point.. but that leaves us a lot to assume...

OA is E... and the question is out of GMAT PREP...

The reason that E is correct is because we CANNOT make any assumptions.

We don't know if there's any overlap, so we have to look at cases in which overlap exists and in which it doesn't.

If there's no overlap, then together we'd have enough info. If there is overlap, then we don't have enough info to determine the exact percentage. Since there's a valid case in which we don't have enough info, the statements are insufficient.
