percentages and word problems

Hi everyone,

I did the online MGMAT question banks yesterday and it seems that I am rather weak in % problems and word problems in general. Does anyone know of any practice sets (from books, question packets) where I can practice these types of problems?

-I have tried the Kaplan workbook, but they seem relatively easier than the MGMAT problems.

Thank you!

Most of my mistakes in the quant section were from the word problems part. So i decided to start from the scratch. I bought the Manhattan GMAT's Word Translation book and that literally dissects the word problems into all the possible categories like Ratios, rate, interest, work etc etc and deals with each as a seperate chapter. It also contains practice problems and a List of problems from the OG pertaining to each topic. I think this book is extremely useful.

Check it out @ amazon.

Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction book could help. Also, the PowerScore Sentence Correction Bible.
