Hi,

I have lost my job recently and thought would use this time to prepare for my GMAT. I am thinking of applying for a part-time MBA. Do you have any idea whether they would consider applicants who have no job for a Part-time MBA or is it a MUST to have a job for one to be eligible for a part-time MBA.

Please advise.

Thanks

Dear grumpy,

Most part-time programs do not necessarily require you to be working. However, I think there will be a question on why you are applying to a part-time program without a job. If it is simply you are seeking employment and plan to be working during the program, then that is fine and something you will need to disclose in your interview.

Regards,
Lisa
