Papguest

I think it would make more sense for you to make a pdf or word doc of your hand written notes instead of making a post every day or every few minutes. Scrolling through every post becomes tedious.

Thanks for the effort

papgust wrote:"X because of Y" means that action Y was the cause of action X.
Action Y is NOT the same as Action X.
If Y was the cause of X, then can we also say "X caused by Y"?
If we can say so, then according to one of your earlier posts, we can also say "X due to Y".

papgust wrote:"Aid" must be followed by the preposition "in" rather than by the infinitive "to X".

--> [Refer OG11, Qn. # 106] <--
Special Note -:

Please have a look at it

Aid to can be used when its a subject's action
eg : she provides AID TO victims.

AID IN generally follows possessive nouns plus the verb takes -ing forms

eg : Her AID in walking the dog was appreciated

Hi papgust,

i have gone through your p[ost and its really helpful , here are some of my doubts

Please post some tips on pronoun and pronoun agreement

usage of "to be" and having ()in the beginning of sentence, "through" and some other preposition usage.

also about the quantitative words what you prefer in following scenerio
x is more than others OR X IS MOST AMONG OTHERS
my query is when one of the person in comparison is singular "noun" and second is "others " then which quantitative word you prefer

Abhinav

Need the correct answer guys.
The last one is correct. All of the other options say "destroyed and heavily damaged", but a building cannot both be destroyed and heavily damaged.
I don't know what to say, really. Three minutes to the biggest battle of our professional lives. You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game - life or football - the margin for error is so small. I mean, one half a step too late or too early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow, too fast and you don't quite catch it. I'll tell you this, in any fight it's the guy whose willing to die whose gonna win that inch. That's football guys, that's all it is. Now, what are you gonna do?

Following ADJECTIVES are never placed immediately after the verb,

Main

Eventual
Occasional

Underlying
Have a doubt..Is the sentence "xyz corporation has gone digital." correct?? Then in that case we can use some of the above adjectives after a verb...
