Hi
I took the MGMAT CAT2 test in the following way:
- Section 1: Skipped the AWA
- Section 2: Completed the Quantitative section in the morning
- Section 3: Took Verbal section in the evening.
While I was doing the verbal questions, suddenly I got a page not found error. When I refreshed the browser, it took me back to the "resume" button. I clicked on resume and went ahead. The site took me to the exact question(Q28), which I was working on with the exact time remaining. In the opening exam directions the website states, "if you lose your connection while data is being transmitted between questions, you will have undesired results." I got a 600 last time and a 690 this time.
Should I treat the overall score as invalid?
I am attaching the score comparison sheet of CAT1 vs CAT2 as well as the score sheet of CAT2 Verbal part, so that somebody experienced can make a better guess of this test.
Does anybody ever faced a similar situation? Please help :!:
Regards

Hi
I just got the email from MGMAT tech support and here it goes, "We mean that there is a possibility that an answer wasn’t recorded, questions may be given out of order, or a whole section of the exam gets closed out. This should not have affected your score since all answers were recorded."
So all in all the scores were genuine. What a relief

Glad to hear it! In future, definitely send an email to [email protected] for something like this, as I wouldn't even know how to answer your question!
Please note: I do not use the Private Messaging system! I will not see any PMs that you send to me!!
