Statement 1 gives the fraction of people who buy only product P

Statement 2 gives fraction of peoplw ho buy product Q (This also includes the number of people buying both P and Q)

Hence fraction of people buying neither products = 1 - (1/3 + 1/2) = 1/6

Hence C (Both statements are needed)

so i have to interpret that when it doesn't say that it doesn't buy the other he buys both?
