Oxford or Ireland

by rexyb » Tue Oct 16, 2012 5:47 am
Hi guys,

I'm an Australian with a couple of years experience in strategy for an airline. My ultimate goal is to get a strategy role somewhere in Ireland (I know the economy is shot) would I be better of going to Oxford or Smurfitt or Trinity in Dublin.

I understand Oxford is a superior school but could my employment prospects be better by attending an Irish school.

Thanks
Rex

Rex, well, if you know for sure you want to work in a particular destination X, even if the school is less well ranked, it does have a certain advantage for you.. You need to see what their employment stats are and how well-connected they are too. and anyhow, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to apply to both, and see what happens.
