they say that past participles (in our case-known) can be || to present participles that act as adjectives (here-resembling)
this issue is very often tested in Gmat
remember sentence about giant fungus that is interwoven filigree of mushrooms...tentacles spawned by..... and extending

In Op F which u suggested, a THAT is required after "and" for THAT and THAT parallelism. we can not assume THAT after and as we do with auxiliary verbs and the word TO. Hence OP F is again violates parallelism.tetura84 wrote:D would be correct if 'it' was not present.
