One month prep - strategy

by Danz » Thu Feb 05, 2009 7:14 am
I'm looking for some advice on a one month prep strategy, specifically if more time should be spent on the Kaplan review and test strategies versus focusing on OG questions and learning the content/question type? Currently looking at doing both but with limited time trying to discern which resource/strategy to focus on.

Thanks.

I started with this method but found OG is focused on content and question types but lacked any of the test strategies that the review companies preach. I guess what you are saying is nail down as much content and familiarize myself with the question types and approach to these questions over test strategies?

With such limited time to prep, I think that is the way to go. Test strategies are important (things like pacing, understanding the CAT), but full mastery of them require more time to practice in my opinion.

I think the lower hanging fruit is to understand the GMAT concepts being tested and understand strategies for the various question types.

Good luck!
