i'll go with B too

Reasoning:

in A which slowed sales of..... referrs to weather whereas it should referr to unexciting merchandise as well as weather and hence option B is correct

In B "which was colder and wetter than usual in some regions" describes weather and slowing referrs to weather as well as unexciting merchandise
