In the case of OG questions. you can attempt questions in a set of 30 ques or fewer Topic-wise but have to manage time in starting of the test and follow till the end . because many time hard question can waste a lot of time to solve and in this case, you can miss easy question so only divide your question into a time slot and follow only that time table so you will be able to attempt all questions. The Official Guide is a nice resource for a trove of practice questions, but it should only be used as a supplement to a full GMAT prep course. Many of our students come to us after trying to study exclusively with the Official Guide, only to realize after months—or worse, after getting a sub-par GMAT score—that they were studying without any particular direction. There is a direct cost to your efficiency if you do this, and no way of quantifying your academic weaknesses so you can truly focus on what you need to know.

To get the most benefit from the Official Guide's practice questions, you must first learn the theory behind each GMAT topic as well as develop your test-taking techniques. Only then, here's what we recommend:

Step 1 - Start with Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension questions
Step 2 - Wait until much later to review Sentence Correction, Quantitative questions and Integrated Reasoning

A simple example is that, at first glance, a question may look like a percents problem, but later may morph into a ratio question. Wait until you have a large bag of academic tools at your disposal before attempting these types of questions.
