By what % did the median household income in country y decrease from 1970 to 1980?

1. 1970 the median houselhold income in country Y was 2/3 of the median household income in country x.

2. 1980 the median househol income country y was 1/2 of the median household income in country x..

statement 1 and 2 alone are insufficient however, why not c? I can plug in an imaginary number and force an answer!

Is it E?
St 1 donot give enough info abt country X mediaan income So INSUFF.
St 2 same case as above n moreover we dont know how much country x median income has changed. so we can not take C as well.

Because if you plug in different numbers, you'll get different answers. Since it's possible to get more than 1 answer to the question, the statements are insufficient.
