Secondly, 'that' refers to 'a market' where 'for bygone styles of furniture and fixtures ' modifying market. And hence singular verb 'is' should be used.

A market for bygone styles of furniture and fixtures has grown out of America's fascination with all things antique that is bringing back the chaise lounge the overstuffed sofa, and the claw-footed bathtub.

So here, the subject of the verb "has grown" is "market"

You may have got the correct answer but your explanation is not proper .

@sunil_snath - you are right the subject is MARKET .

Here is the explanation .

Lets look at the sentence . The sentence starts with Out of America’s fascination with all things antique.

This entire phrase precedes the verb HAS/HAVE and start with the preposition OUT . Hence this complete phrase is a prepositional phrase and can not contain the subject .

So the subject must be after the VERB . And hence is a classic case or reverse construction .

The noun after the verb is MARKET and it is the only logical thing that has grown .

Since MARKET is singular will take singular verb HAS and not HAVE .

We can eliminate A , C , D .

Between B and E there is not much to choose except for VERB .

Since in B is bringing - IS - is used which is singular we can say that the subject of this verb too is MARKET (singular).

E can be eliminated because BRING is not a working verb in this sentence .
