(C) without another doctor's testimony
(D) should there be no testimony from some other doctor
wrong in american english, which gmat follows
(E) lacking another doctor to testify

OA C
two things
1)understand meaning. Doctors's testimony will do, we do not necessarily require another doctor.
2)treat it as IF.. THEN to eliminate wrong options

Other than wordiness, two things to note
1)We don't necessarily require another doctor to testify, but We necessarily require a doctor's testimony.
SO in this case, a doctor's testimony will DO.
So basically, after IF we need to show lack of other doctor's testimony rather than lack of another doctor to testify.
2) use of THERE. THERE should be used to refer to some place noun. Can you find an antecedent for THERE?

Thanks
