Is 1/a-b < b-a?
1) a<b
2) a<|a-b|
So the OA is A. But my question is, it's not mentioned in the question whether a or b is integer or fractions. If we consider both of them integers, the answer is pretty simple and it's A. But when we consider fractions- the answer comes to B.
Anybody pls explain, why is OG considering a and be to be integers?
OG 10- DS 245

I dont know how you conclude B as a answer...bcoz in B,we have to choose a absolute value of a and b...but in this question,we just need to know whether a is greater or less than b...Let me know if u ve any problems..rabab wrote:Is 1/a-b < b-a?

Rabab,
If no info is given for a and b then the condition must be trur for all (intgers, fractions, negative integers, negative fractions etcc).
Stmt II) would be INSUFF if you take a=-2 b = -3 and a=-2 b=-2 then it would be true for one and false for the other
Hope this helps!
